MetaMotion Board (board.asitpurohit.in) is a free, zero-login, in-browser digital whiteboard, teaching chalkboard, and interactive slide studio created by Asit Purohit (Founder of MetaMotion, NIT Rourkela alumnus). It operates 100% locally in your browser with zero latency and full privacy.

REAL LIFE
A push or pull on an object is called a force.
Force can change the speed, direction, or shape of an object.
Forces that act through direct physical contact
between objects.
Different contact forces act in our daily life, making motion possible.
Acts when an object is stretched or compressed. Always tries to restore the original length.
Acts between two surfaces in contact. Opposes the relative motion (or tendency of motion).
Acts perpendicular to the surface when two objects are in contact. Supports the object.
Acts through a stretched string, rope or cable. Always pulls along the length of the string.
Forces that act without physical contact,
yet can change the motion of objects.
Different forces.
A more connected
universe.
Acts between all masses.
Always attractive.
Acts between electric charges.
Can be attractive or repulsive.
Acts on moving charges and
magnetic materials.
Attractive or repulsive.
Acts within the nucleus.
Keeps protons and neutrons
together.
Earth's gravity exerts an uninterrupted pull toward its center without any physical contact (Fg = m·g). No matter whether an object is rising, stationary, or falling, the gravitational force always points downward ↓.
When tossed upward, downward gravity opposes the velocity (a = −9.8 m/s²). The ball decelerates until its velocity reaches zero at the apex (v = 0), then accelerates back down to Earth.
Opposite charges (+ and −) exert inward forces pulling toward each other. Unlike gravity, electrostatic force can be attractive or repulsive.
Charges with equal signs (+ / + or − / −) exert equal and opposite repulsive forces pushing away from each other.
Work is done when an applied force causes a displacement or a change in the shape of an object.
Work is the product
of force and
displacement.
